Mick McConnell is a multi-disciplinary Architect, Retail Design Leader and Executive Creative Director, with management experience in corporate retail management, architecture, environmental graphics, brand strategy, interactive design, graphic design, teaching and advertising. Active in education as visiting professor, critic and lecturer, McConnell was visiting professor at Syracuse in 2010 and prior was at the University of Nebraska as a visiting professor teaching both foundation level and advanced studios. An award-winning author of LAX, The Los Angeles Experiment, McConnell has worked with leading corporations, architects, agencies, and design firms both in-house and as a consultant.
